Privacy Policy

Information we handle

Depending on your use of the service, we handle account and contact details, delivery addresses, order history, payment and refund status, support communications, submitted reviews and technical information such as IP address, device/browser information and security logs. Sellers may provide business-registration, identity, payout and verification information during onboarding. Optional features may require additional information, such as location or notification permissions, which you can manage through device settings.

Payment providers handle payment credentials under their own arrangements. Do not send full card numbers, passwords or identity documents to general support. For restricted-product deliveries, the seller or delivery provider may inspect identification. Identification inspection does not by itself mean UrMarket stores an image or full document number; any additional collection must have a stated, appropriate purpose and safeguards.

Purposes and consent

We use information to operate accounts, process and support orders, connect customers with sellers, arrange fulfilment, handle returns and disputes, verify sellers, prevent fraud, maintain security and meet legal obligations. We seek consent where required and identify additional purposes when necessary. Optional promotional communications require the applicable consent and provide an unsubscribe method. Essential order, account and security messages are distinct from marketing.

Sharing information

Relevant order details are shared with the seller and fulfilment provider to complete the transaction. We use service providers for functions such as hosting, payments, communications and technical operations. They receive information appropriate to their service and are subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements. Sellers and delivery providers may also act independently for their own legal obligations; their privacy notices may apply to that processing.

Information may be disclosed where legally required or permitted, to address fraud or security incidents, or in a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not authorize sellers to use order contact details for unrelated marketing without a lawful basis.

Cookies and device features

The website uses cookies or similar storage for functions such as login, security, preferences and shopping-cart continuity. Your browser can restrict or remove storage, although some features may stop working. Optional analytics or advertising features, if enabled, will be subject to the disclosures and consent choices required for those uses. Device permissions for location, camera and notifications can be changed in your device settings.

Retention, safeguards and processing locations

We retain information only as needed for the stated purposes, recordkeeping, legal requirements, fraud prevention and dispute resolution. Retention periods vary by record type; deletion requests may be subject to these obligations and routine backup expiry. We use access controls and other reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You may request access, correction, information about our practices, withdrawal of consent or account deletion through available account controls or by contacting us. We may verify your identity proportionately before fulfilling a request. We will explain applicable restrictions, the consequences of consent withdrawal, and any lawful reason information must be retained. You may raise a complaint with our Privacy Contact and, where applicable, the appropriate privacy regulator.

Children and policy updates

Age-restricted products are not available to underage purchasers. Do not submit another person's information without authority. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information inappropriately. We may update this policy as services change, show a revised effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
